Good times with good friends

Well Sunday we got to hang out with some good friends of ours. Shane and Avery. Avery is our pastors daughter and we used to get to see them all the time but they recently moved to Austin due to Shane's job. This is Shane's "June Bug" that is what Owen calls it. He had more fun on that thing than I think I ever seen.

He is trying to help Shane start it.



Goofy daddy!! This reminds me of that movie dumb and dumber, when they are riding on that little moped all crouched down. Not that I am comparing Chris and Owen to that.






BIG BELLY!!! By the way in case you couldn't tell Avery is expecting in July a little girl named Gwynn!!! Have to say that Avery is the cutest pregnant girl I have ever seen.

Owen has a rubber tarantula and he thought that it was funny to scare Mrs. Theresa with it. She hates spiders.

Avery had a baby shower this weekend and she got a diaper cake as a gift, but she wanted to take it apart, however it was hot glued and nothing was working to not tear everything. It was quite funny to watch.

Mommy threw Aunt Sarah a surprise B-Day party on her birthday. We had a lot of fun celebrating another wonderful year of her life.

Goofy Daddy!!

My new BIG boy bed

All of these pictures are from our transitioning Owen to his new big boy bed. He told Chris the other night that he didn' like his bed anymore because it was to small. So Chris asked him if he got him a big boy bed if he would like it better and he said, yes. When we bought him his crib we bought the bed that goes from a crib to a toddler bed to a full size bed. It is bitter sweet because it seems that Chris and I just put that bed together as a crib and now here we are on the last stage of the bed. Sorry don't mean to get sappy, but he is growing up so fast.





Daddy and Owen's fun rituals before bed time. I tell you what he is definilty a daddy's boy. Chris has been fortunite to be able to be working in Waco these last 2 months and so he has been coming home every night, for those who dont know he works for the rail road and Owen's whole life daddy is gone for 8 days and then home 7 and it has never been any different, well now he has been hoem everyday for 2 months and soon enough it is about to change and he is going to be out of state again. I know that is going to be a hard transition.


He did so well in his new big boy bed, He loves it.

I like these pictures. Owen loves to read sitting in his Mater chair. Mater talks and so everytime Owen moves he says something and Owen thinks its funny like Mater is answering him while he is reading.








Bedtime reading. Everynight after bathtime we read a book before bed.

Thank you Uncle Todd, Aunt Laci, and Ellie for My clothes. I really like the fire works on them. They are very festive and they actually fit. For those who dont know Owen is 3 and he still wears 18-24 month clothes. And even getting those sizes to fit him are a challenge. He is a tiny boy.
